Joe Burrow’s “window” isn’t closing anytime soon.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was asked about whether he felt like the team was in its Super Bowl window headed into the postseason, where they’ll be the No. 3 seed in the AFC and will attempt to reach a second-straight Super Bowl.

Burrow, however, refuses to look at it that way.

“The window is my whole career … our window is always open,” he said.

The cigar is back, too, so clearly Burrow is feeling good entering the playoffs.

The Bengals, who started the year with back-to-back losses, closed out the season on an eight-game win streak. They had little issue getting past the Ravens on Sunday, too, cruising to a 27-16 win. Burrow threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase early in the second quarter, which put them up 17-0, and finished the day throwing 25-of-42 for 215 yards.

They officially won the AFC North, too, which gave them consecutive division titles for the first time in team history.

“That’s our standard now,” Burrow said. “We’re going to celebrate it every single time that we do it. We’re gonna smoke our cigars and we’re gonna wear our T-shirts and hats, but we expect that every year.”

Window or not, Burrow and the Bengals have another great shot to get out of the AFC and reach a second Super Bowl in as many years. Not that it’s his only chance to get a ring — the 26-year-old is in his third season in the league — but it’s certainly a great chance to get that done.

That, though, won’t make it any easier.

“Would you have it any other way? Burrow asked. “I don’t want it easy, it’s not as satisfying … There’s no easy path to the NFL, into the playoffs and to the Super Bowl. So the harder it is, the better it’ll feel.”
