Through 2 Quarters

The Air Force Falcons were expected to win this one, and so far that’s exactly how it’s playing out. They have emerged as the frontrunner at halftime and are ahead of the Colorado State Rams 21-14. The Falcons already have more points in this game than they finished with last week.

Nobody has stood out from the pack for Air Force offensively yet, with WR Brandon Lewis being one of several leaders. He has caught one pass for one TD and 92 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Lewis’ 92-yard TD reception in the first quarter.

Air Force and Colorado State have certainly played as if they’re avenging a defeat, because they are. Either team could still leave here with a redeeming victory, so expect a scrappy second half.

The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Air Force was outplayed the rest of the way. QB Haaziq Daniels put forth a good effort for the losing side as he passed for one TD and 226…
