First there were whispers. Then rumors. Then reports. And then it was official: 

The No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2022, cornerback Travis Hunterflipped his commitment from Florida State to Jackson State on National Signing Day. Jackson State, of course, is coached by former Florida State legend and 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Deion Sanders.

It’s being hailed as “the biggest signing day moment in the history of college football” by Steve Wiltfong, the director of national recruiting for 247Sports. The decision sent reverberations around all of college football, writes our college sports expert David Cobb:
