Herbert INT sets up TD

Deep in his own territory, Justin Herbert thought he had a small window to find Keenan Allen in the middle of the field. But at the last second, linebacker Eric Kendricks emphatically closed it by making a diving interception. Six plays later, the Vikings extended their advantage to 10 with the game’s first touchdown.

Spectacular birthday TD

DeVonta Smith is celebrating his 23rd birthday on Sunday, and instead of waiting for presents, he went and got one late in the first quarter. Running a wheel route down the right sideline, Smith made a jumping, twirling catch with fellow rookie Patrick Surtain II draped all over him. The 36-yard snag opened the scoring.


Cam Newton returning to the Panthers was the heart-warming storyline entering Week 10, and it’s gotten so much better in his first game back.
