An illness has left Lamar Jackson as questionable for the Ravens’ road game against the Bears on Sunday. Baltimore changed Jackson’s status on Saturday afternoon. Jackson was a full participant during Friday’s practice after missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The Ravens have not specified the type of illness the former MVP is dealing with.
Jackson has missed just two games since being named the Ravens’ starting quarterback midway through his rookie season. With a playoff bye clinched, the Ravens sat Jackson and several other starters during their Week 17 win over Pittsburgh in 2019. Jackson was on the COVID-19 list during Baltimore’s regular-season loss in Pittsburgh in 2020. Jackson played in Baltimore’s first nine games this season.
Sunday would mark Jackson’s first game against the Bears, who are coming off of a bye week after a 3-6 start to the season. Including the playoffs, Jackson is 25-2 when facing a team for the first time. He is 12-0 against NFC teams.
