ESPN FPI sees a Wisconsin vs. Ohio State Big Ten Championship matchup (again)

Wisconsin is two wins away from its third trip to the Big Ten Championship game since 2017. After a 1-3 start to the season that included two conference losses, it would’ve been hard to envision the team sitting where it does (first place in the Big Ten West) with two weeks remaining.

First up for the Badgers on that path is a home showdown with 3-7 (1-6 Big Ten) Nebraska—a team where the record doesn’t exactly represent its quality on the football field.

Then the Badgers will travel to Minneapolis to close out their season against Minnesota. The game figured to decide the Big Ten West a few weeks ago, though now the Gophers need help in addition to beating the surging Badgers.

After the results from around the Big Ten yesterday, ESPN FPI projects yet another Wisconsin vs. Ohio State matchup in the Big Ten Championship game.
