CB Shaquill Griffin still remains a non-participant in practice after Week 11 concussion

The Jacksonville Jaguars had five non-participants in practice Wednesday and cornerback Shaquill Griffin was among them. The veteran corner also missed last week’s game against Atlanta after sustaining a concussion in Week 11’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Earlier this week, Jags coach Urban Meyer said Griffin would be day-to-day and added that more would be available as the week progresses.

Griffin was far from the only defensive starter to miss practice, though, as defensive linemen Malcom Brown (toe) and DaVon Hamilton (knee) sat out of Wednesday’s session, too. The pair was also joined by the Jags’ two interior linebackers in Myles Jack (knee) and Damien Wilson (ankle).

Brown, Hamilton, and Wilson weren’t on last week’s final injury report and are new additions. Wilson’s injury was one that was expected, though, as the veteran left Sunday’s game against Atlanta and was ruled questionable to return.

Jack, on the other hand, has surfaced on the injury report dating back to Week 10 with a knee injury, but it hasn’t prevented him from missing a game dating back to that time.

As for the Los Angeles Rams, notables Odell Beckham Jr. (hip) and Darrell Henderson (thigh) surfaced on Wednesday’s report. With both being offensive starters, their respective situations will be worth watching as the Jags’ defense would have a better chance for success if neither is available.
