Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields is nursing an ankle injury, and has been officially listed as questionable to play vs. the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He was a limited participant in practice Wednesday but sat out Thursday and Friday. In fact, head coach Matt Nagy has already ruled out him starting, and will instead put Nick Foles under center in Week 16, per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Andy Dalton would usually be the second-string quarterback, but he has been ruled out with a groin injury. Fields may still be active this week, although it will be in a backup/emergency role. He completed 26 of 39 passes for 285 yards and one touchdown in the 17-9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.
